Peterborough Colts v MHRUFC

A 1230 ko seemed to undo the Colts as they didn't start playing until amost 1 o'clock, but then made a great game of it.
Unfortuntately before they got into the game, the hosts had scored three converted tries.
The vocal Colman however had other ideas and grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck, breaking through to almost score a fine individual effort but realising he was being caught, went to ground. From the ensuing ruck Harley Williams was on hand to score. George Williams added the extras 21:7
In the second half Harborough were much more in the game and an emptying of the bench brough new impetus.
Colman was again the difference, this time backing himself over the line, 21:12
Then followed a great move down the left wing, Max Fletcher showing great footballing skills to kick ahead and when he was running after the ball in a chase to score there was a 'coming together' with a chasing defender away from the ball. A penalty try was the expected decision, even from the hosts' coaches, but sadly not and the score stayed the same ... until Peterborough scored again 28:12
Another one followed but then a fine backs move saw the ball pass through half a dozen pairs of hands to the thorn in the Peterborough side Colman who scored his second,
Harborough thought they had added another late on but it was rightly ruled out for a knock on.
