Harborough Colts Cup Quarter Final

This was a keenly contest match between two good sides with the final score not reflecting the efforts of the visitors.
Possession exchanged tit for tat in the first few minutees, neither side getting close to a score.
Harborough had a line out in the Melton 22 which was well defended and Melton took possession, but good tacking from Harborough won the ball back, Harley Williams scoring the first try in the corner. 5:0
It wasn't long before Ollie Pile doubled the lead 10:0
Melton were awarded a penalty in the centre just outside the 22 and opted for points, 10:3
Final score in the half saw DJ finish off the move, 15:3
In the second half, a yellow card saw Melton down to 14 for a period, Will Colman taking advantage of the extra space to run through and score, converted by G Williams 22:3
Harley Williams then scored under the posts, Eric Harper adding another soon after, both converted by G WIlliams, 36:3
The final score saw George Williams swap his kicking boots for running ones to extend the lead to 41:3
Unfortunately he forgot to swap his boots back and that was the final score.
