Lutterworth v Harborough Colts

On a cold January afternoon, Harborough came away with a win in the local derby.
They were first to score with a trademark try from Harley Williams after a 5m lineout. 0:5
For the next ten minutes or so, Lutterworth exerted pressure on the Harborough defence but the visitors held firm and eventually broke free to contest down the other end, Williams again scoring to double the lead, this time then converted by G Williams 0:12
Although it remained scrappy, Harborough began to dominate the game and a third try was added by Raf Hodgson to see Harborough go in 17:0 up at half time.
With a large squad travelling for this game, roughly 13 subs came on at half time. Harley Williams however was one who had stayed on and he completed his hattrick 0:22 converted 0:24
Jamie Pickavance then swallow dived over in the left corner 0:29 and Harley Mabbutt in the right soon after 0:34
Lutterworth then started to threaten the Harborough line, the ball was passed wide and a superb defensive tackle saw the Lutterworth attacker bundled into touch on his back, dropping the ball in mid-air, yet the referee was clearly unsighted and a try was awarded to Lutterworth 5:34
This cost the Harborough linesman a fine in the clubhouse later for missing such obvious infringements!
Feeling wronged, the visitors went straight back down the other end and restored the margin, Pickavanace eventually putting the ball down to score his second,5:39
