U12's success in Joules Cup

The three mixed ability MHRUFC Under 12's faced an A and a B side in their age group. They secured two victories and a draw against the B team and although Meteors and Comets narrowly lost to Onley A, a tremendous performance from the Rockets in a fiercely competitive game saw them deserved winners against Olney A,

Comets played two games, the first against Olney A was a tense draw with both sides scoring a try in the first half. Harborough racked up the first, with a drive over by Will Salvesson after a scrum 10 metres from the Olney line. It was almost an identical try for Olney to even the scores. Both sides were even in the second half and shared the honours.

Against Olney B, Comets were pegged back in the first half, but after the break came out on the attack scoring a game winner following a 10 metre scrum with Jake Sterland launching a diagonal run and diving over.
