Harborough Under 12's faced the physically larger visitors from Nuneaton in what was a day for the forwards. Lots of spilled ball in the wet conditions saw the dominant visiting pack able to boss the host's set piece and a day littered with handling errors allowed them to dominate. They ran the ball well too however, taking some stopping and on the day were too strong for Harborough. Harborough scored first in the first game, Jake Gledhill scoring what proved to be the only home try of the day. Nuneaton levelled then scored the winner to end the game 2:1.
The second game was all Nuneaton, seeing them score three or four without reply. The reporter's pen and paper failed in the conditions, but 'we lost' was the outcome.
