2 out of 2 for U12 Panthers

Kettering brought virtually two teams and they had some big lads in their squad. But its fair to say the MH Panthers U12’s brought the game to Kettering.

Kettering looked well drilled in warm up but played the first half of the first game fairly flat. The Panthers were running onto the ball with pace and backed in each other well in the rucks.

Kettering were no match for the Harborough pace, by the time the first half had finished MH were 5-1 up.

Second half Kettering played much stronger, and were a good, physical and more structured side from the first half with and played more out wide passing the ball well. They managed to score two try’s against the Panthers in the second half and unlucky to not have another try awarded. However, MH scored a further five in this half to finish the game MH 10 Kettering 3. Albert able had an outstanding game with scoring a total of 6 try’s of this game.

Second game was 10 mins each way and the play was almost a the same as the second half of the first game. Kettering unlucky not to have scored but MH proved too strong finishing the game MH 3 Kettering 0. Benjamin Hunt played for the first time Scrum Half today and suited him with a good performance. Finley Carter also had some blistering runs with two try’s scored.

Below are the try Scorers for both games, but again the whole team again worked as one unit and could easily have had each and everyone one of them mentioned. Two games and two wins, the Panthers are now ready for the next challenge.
