Market Harborough Under 12’s Sharks welcomed a streamed Hinckley side to Northampton Road on Sunday morning.
The match kicked off in cold and windy conditions, and immediately the strong Hinckley outfit put the Sharks under pressure with aggressive rucking, turning the ball over on numerous occasions, and notching up early scores.

However Harborough dug deep and stuck to their game plan moving the ball wide through hands, scoring excellent tries of their own, this gave the Sharks belief that their mixed ability team could pull off a really significant victory.

Aggressive Sharks tackling created welcome possession and further tries to tie the game 5-5, however a couple of late handling errors allowed Hinckley to snatch victory 7-5 in a highly competitive and great morning of rugby.

The Sharks and their Coaches left the field feeling very proud of the performance of all 18 of the players.
