The Harborough U10's were unbeaten with visitors from Northampton and Kettering

Menaces won all 3 of their games and Rogues won 2, drew one. Full report to follow later.

Menaces v ON's
ON's stronger players were otherwise engaged in another fixture so their development side were our visitors. On the day Menaces were just too strong and ran out 6:0 winners. First to score was Thomas Kemp (TK). Hooper added the second following a great bit of play by scrum half Henry Bellamy. Bellamy then added the third himself and then grabbed his second before half time. Half time substitutions were made and scoring his first try was Jacob Holmes in the left corner. Caspar Bird finished it off with his first of the day.

Menaces v Kettering 'Blues'
This was more of a contest for the Menaces but TK picked the ball up near his own try line and ran the length of the pitch to score. Blues equalised almost straight away. Back on the offensive, George Hallam picked up a loose ball and scored, then soon after added his second before half time. In the second half Birdy grabbed his second of the day with a run from half way.

Menaces v Kettering 'Whites'
What proved to be the toughest game of the day saw Menaces come away the winners following a single try. TK was again the provider and he showed lightning pace from behind his own try line, picking up a loose ball and running the length of the pitch to score. Defences of both teams held strong for the rest of the game in an encounter enjoyed by players and spectators alike.

Rogues V’s Kettering 'Whites': Final Score 0 - 0
Dominant is the word to describe Rogues in their first game of the day against Kettering Whites. Unable to get out of their own half, Kettering were forced back to the try line by Rogues throughout the game. Rogues were unlucky to come away with only a draw after crossing the Kettering line three times but failing to ground the ball.

Rogues V’s ON’s: Final Score 8 - 0
Against a development side from Old Northamptonians, Rogues were again the dominant force. The first half gave Billy Stamp-Ellam an opportunity to impress with four tries. After the break Henry Joule added another three, followed by Daniel Priestley adding one at the final whistle.

Rogues V’s Kettering 'Blues': Final Score 2 – 1
The best game that Rogues Under 10’s have played this year! Despite being up against a strong Kettering Blues squad, Rogues battled back from an early Kettering lead to level at half time with a fine try from Stamp-Ellam. The second half was tense as Rogues pushed hard to gain ground. Several Harborough players broke through the Kettering defence but were held back. Stamp-Ellam rounded off a fine day with another try to secure a Rogues win. No player of day was awarded this week as the whole team shared the honours.
