MHRUFC were drawn to play against Wisbech in Leicester Tiger's Prima Bowl competition at Welford road.
After a nervous start with some resolute defending MH began to exert some pressure themselves with strong running, in particular Ty Smith. An evenly balanced first half finished with MH nearly scoring in the corner when the backs moved the ball down the line well but unfortunately Thomas Kemp was tackled into touch.
The second half was again very close but MH began to dominate possession and looked the most likely to score. Another good backs' move again resulted in Henry Joule putting Thomas Kemp into space but again a last gasp tackle from Wisbech prevented a score.
A monster tackle by Shea Harley set up the last move of the game when Shea nearly scored the winning try but unfortunately had the ball dislodged over the try line.
That was the last play of the game and Harborough were unlucky not to proceed to the next round on the toss of a coin. All the boys played really well, enjoyed the experience and represented the club extremely well. Role on the next tournament!
