U10's Festival Final, winners were Wymondham
Pool A Winners Hinckley 1 - Pool B Winners Wymondham 2

Menaces didn't wake up for their first game against Market Bosworth and soon fell behind. Despite a much more resolute second half, it took a try saving tackle by Will Noble for the scoreline not to deteriorate, but they rarely threatened the opposition's line and lost the first game 1:0.
In the second match against Nuneaton, Menaces opened up a 2 try lead with a brace of tries for the speedy Kemp down the left wing. Nuneaton pulled one back and then a period of play that saw the opposition offside by several metres and then spray touchline cones on the way to 'score' saw them level 2:2 at half time. Menaces restored the lead as kemp completed his hatrick but it wasn't to be and Nun's levelled for a 3:3 draw.
Third up were Wymondham, Prima cup finalists so expected to be tough opposition. This proved to tbe the case, although heavily influenced by one particularly large player and one very gifted one. In the first half, Menaces could not get to grips with the thought of tackling a child who was the size of a 14 year old, but by the second half Will Earland realised that the coaches' advice was sound and if he was tackled low enough, he would fall over. Wymondham proved too strong however and came away 5:0 winners.
The last opponents were Ashby and in a pretty forgettable game, the only 0:0 draw of the competition was fought out, both teams by then probably feeling the effects of a bruising few encounters beforehand.
In the final, Hinckley scored first, but Wymondham fought back to lead 2:1 at half time and they held on to that lead to lift the trophy. Despite the lack of Harborough representation in the final it was a day enjoyed by all, meeting new opponents and for some of the Menaces and Rogues, having their first experience of a home festival.
