Meteors were a bit out of sorts in their performance against a large Hinckley side. The Harborough squads had arrived in good numbers to play their hosts, who themselves suffered some late withdrawals meaning they could field only one side. It proved a strong side though on the narrow pitch, not suited to Harborough's normal free-flowing passing game.
Meteors went down to a 4:1 defeat, scoring a consolation try towards the end of the game after TK picked the ball up in his own deadball and almost reached the opponent's tryline before being pushed into touch. From the resulting line out, Hallam drove through to score. Meteors will need to be on their game for the visit of Lutterworth next week.
