Meteors & Comets power stops visitors Lutterworth in their tracks.

First to play against the visitors were the Comets.
An even contest in the first half finally went the Comets' way as newcomer Ethan Hodges drove five metres forward to score his first try of the season against his former club. It hadn’t been plain sailing for Comets though, the forwards all working hard to keep Lutterworth pegged back in their own half for most of the game.

Second half it was a different game! Comets applied the pressure early only just failing to convert several chances. However, the hard work from Joe Williams on the wing and Joseph Smith was recognised by loud cheers from the supporters and the coaches. Finally Comets were rewarded for their efforts as Shea Harley used his power to push for the line and grounded the ball for the Comets second try of the game. Lutterworth managed to earn a consolation try, but in the end it was a convincing home win for Comets.

Meteors put memories of last week behind them and pulled out their best performance of the season to date in what proved to be a convincing win.
Good attacking play was brought to a halt illegally within sight of the visitors try line. A quick re-start from George Hooper, enabled Billy Stamp-Ellam to score the opener. Then started the George Hallam show. Hallam's strength and technique at the scrum saw Menaces dominant at the set piece and following some great rucking by Jacob 'Crackers' Holmes, Hallam drove forcefully across the line to score. Speedster Thomas Kemp used his pace to bag a third before half time.
In the second half, Hallam again proved too strong, scoring with a powerful run from a penalty just 5 metres out, Soon after that he was substituted with the game won, to give the visitors a breather! Newcomer this season Jack Wilson put in his best performance in a Harborough shirt and made good progress with strong runs. The game finished 4:0 to Harborough, after some strong defence from Holmes and Fletcher prevented a consolation try for Lutterworth.
