Menaces:
In a forgettable first half, Menaces lost the toss and found themselves playing uphill. This soon became the situation in the game too as they conceeded three soft tries before half time. Blues extended their lead to 4 i nthe second half, before a mini fight back. Harborough pulled two back ,the second a delightful score for George Hooper, who chipped over the defence and ran through to gather himself and score. A final try from Blues saw the game end 5:2.
The second game was much closer and was one Menaces should have won. Again their defence was lacking, resulting in two tries for the visitors, but a strong run from Will Noble saw him back himself to score for a 2:1 half time score. The game was interrupted by the air ambulance arriving to treat a player on a nearby game then George Boucher pounced to score and level the game, With less than perfect conditions to keep their concentration, Menaces again allowed the opposition through and Blues scored the winning try with the last play. 2:3 loss.
