Frosty start to the New Year for the Comets and Rockets

A frozen surface delayed kick off for the MH Under 11's against visitors Vipers RUFC. Only two games were possible in the late morning sunshine but the parents and supporters were rewarded with some great rugby.
MH U11 Comets V's Vipers - Win 2 - 0
The home team dominated the first half with Will Salvesen having a great game which earned him the player of the match award. Despite the pressure, Comets were unable to convert any of their advances into a try in the first half.
In the second half, the first try was scored by Ethan Hodges after a sly pick-up and diagonal run through a gap. The second try came courtesy of leading Comets scorer Jake Sterland following one of his trade mark solo surges through opponents defensive line.
