A mixed under 11's team entered the Stamford festival where they played in a league of five teams.
First up were Oundle who took the lead before Harborough had even realised where the unmarked try line was. A trademark run from Billy Stamp-Ellam saw him level the score at half time. In the second hald Oundle again took the lead but an equally predictable score for Thomas Kemp saw the game end 2:2.
Next up were Wisbech. A tightly contested game saw both sides equally matched. After the referee had signalled final play, Wisbech kicked into touch to secure a 0:0 draw.
Sleaford were next and Harborough found themselves 2:0 down before half time. Kemp pulled one back after a typical run but Sleaford scored again. Harborough pressure, with fantastic tackling by Shea Harley led to Will Salvesen seeing a gap to exploit and dart through to score. The game finished 2:4.
The final game was against Kesteven with various Harborough players out of normal positions. 2:0 down at half time soon became 3, but Stamp-Ellam restored pride and narrowed the gap before the game ended.
The Harborough lads enjoyed their day, playing as a mixed side with players they hadn't played with before.
