Hinckley Festival

Seven children travelled to the Hinckley Festival.

Alfie, Aran, Oscar, Ptolemy, Imogen, Eve and Archie W.

Drawn in group B out of the 12 teams, they played Hinckley 2 in their first game winning 9-7; they won their second game 5-3 against Syston and the third game another win 8-7 against Lichfield. With 12 points in total they were the group winners going through to play the group winners of A and C.

In the cup play off they lost their first game 8-4 against Hinckley 1, who were very well drilled. Second match they won 9-8 against Nuneaton who lost their game also against Hinckley 1.

Hinckley 1 were overall winners of the competition and MH were second.

The kids looked a bit disappointed at the awards presentation, despite finishing second out of 12 teams, as trophies were awarded for the playoffs for the teams who had finished below them in the group stages.

Great day out with the kids who all played well.
