Long Buckby festival

2 teams travelled to Long Buckby RFC and were of a similar standard

As Team A - were Archie, Robert, Crae, Conor and Jacob.
Team B were Aran, Evelyn, Sam, Mason and Harvey.

Both teams finished top of their respective groups with the team B winning all 4 matches and team A winning 3 and 1 draw.

Both teams went into the semi finals with Team A beating Broadstreet 7-6, Team B had the ON's but lost 9-6.

So in the final we had team A against the ON's. We won the toss and scored the first try, at half time it was 5 tries each. In the second half we ran into touch a couple of times and the possession was turned over, and we were 2 points adrift. We got back at them but just lost 9-8.

Both teams played outstanding rugby and worked well together.. we have a few stars but what I saw the other kids elevating them to the same standard to make a great team effort. Well done from all the coaches to the kids.
