Mini Junior Rugby
Market Harborough Mini & Juniors section delivers rugby training and games to children of all ability levels in accordance with the RFU 'Age Grade Rugby' regulations. For children up to and including school year 6 teams are mixed gender. From year 7 we have a girls section and a boys section.
Children who are of school age, from reception year upwards are able to join and learn how to play the game in a safe and fun environment, making friends along the way and socialising with their peers.
Their parents and guardians are well looked after too with our licensed club house also serving breakfast items and hot drinks until the bar opens later in the morning where Garry our clubhouse manager will be keen to share with you a rugby story or two!
Children play in age groups that follow the academic school year (age on 1st Sept dictates the group for the year) and we have a policy of playing 'mixed ability' rugby so that all children get to play in matches.
Age group coaches are 'DBS' checked by our club safeguarding officers.
New players are very welcome to try training with us for free, but need to be registered before they can play in fixtures against other clubs.
