Harborough rugby club had put forward Sulwyn's name as a nomination to the Honda Volunteer of the Year Awards. The celebration event was held at the home of Leicester Tigers - Welford Road on Tuesday 30th April 2024.

Unfortunately, Sulwyn was feeling a little under the weather and unable to attend, but nephew Bryn was on hand to receive the recognition on his behalf from Leicester legend Peter Wheeler.

The good news is that Sulwyn is feeling better today and was delighted to hear that Harborough retained the County Cup in a exciting tight game.

Sulwyn has spent endless hours preparing our pitches and looking after the ground for decades. THANK YOU SULWYN from the whole club.
