While the 2024-25 season saw girls from the Market Harborough Under 16 Girls squad gain recognition for their skills in the Leicestershire and East Midlands PDG programme the 2025-26 season has seen their performance step up again.

As a two year age group, and PDG programme, those girls who were successful in their application for the Leicestershire programme had the opportunity to return for the second year of the programme, while others were invited to trials during the schools summer holidays. Players had to demonstrate their skills on and off the ball, their fitness and physical determination, and an aptitude to being coached.

We are very excited and proud to announce that 13 of the Markt Harborough Under 16s players have been selected to represent Leicestershire this season. Those players are;
