In an exciting County Final that signified the first time U14G were battling for the plate, Market Harborough took an early lead against Oadby Wiggs with an impressive 3 tries in the first 10 minutes.
OW showed great resilience, scoring in the 12th minute, MH were able to capitalise on every opportunity with several tries from break throughs at the opposition end of the pitch and excellent defensive play. Half time saw MH leading 36-5.
The second half saw MH continue to dominate, reflecting a season that has seen the team continually grow in confidence and determination.
Following an OW try, MH swiftly responded with 4 of their own. Despite another score from OW it was MH who sealed the match with the final 2 tries.
Finishing 68-17 to see MH lift the plate, it was a great match with fantastic performances from both sides, excellent sportsmanship and rugby values.
Congratulations to both MHRUFC & OW's U14 girls on an amazing match.
