Long Eaton put up a good fight and have a good set of forwards in particular, but were comfortably beaten thanks to a great all round display from Harborough. Huw Davies scored three tries and had two more disallowed; Jack Woodward scored a couple and played exceptionally well in attack and defence, with the home side unable to cope with his searing runs. Parth Bhatt scored his first try of the season following some excellent work by Cameron Jordan. Will Hallam scored and converted; Alejandro Scott also got two; Keiran Silcott, James Melody and Theo Haynes were the other try scorers.
There were impressive performances right through the squad. Tom Pope came on at Fly Half and kicked very well in tricky conditions; Tom Mercer showed skill and intelligence at Scrum Half; Morgan Jones was strong on the wing; Max Dalby made life difficult for the defence; George Colyer and Dan Allen worked their socks off.
Some great phases of play were on display, with forwards and backs combining well. The loose forwards linked with the centres; Keiran Silcott came in to the line in attack; Cameron Jordan and Parth Bhatt made some powerful breaks together. All in all, a much improved performance.
