After inital pressure from the home team straight from the whistle Harborough was given the first opportunity to score through a penalty kick which unfortunately was missed. Bosworth came back and put points on the board with two tries due to some poor tackling and a rising penalty count.Score 0-12.
This seemed to wake the Harborough boys up and from the kick off a great team play with the ball being passed out wide resulted in a try for Moore converted by Mrtynek.
The rest of the half was tit for tat and lots of scrappy play and the whistle blew at 7-12 to the visitors.
The second half was more of the same with frequent stops in play due to the whistle being blown in an error filled first 15 mins. However finally Harborough seemed to find their flow with a try to Beech equaling the score 12 all.
A good period of play caused Bosworth to play under pressure and resulted in a penalty to Harborough in front of the posts. Mrtynek slotted this calmly over and after a few more tense minutes of play the final whistle blew. Final score 15-12
A game of rugby played in good rugby spirit and one that could have gone either way but this time Harborough take the spoils.
