With the usual very competent match reporter not present this report will not follow the previous high standard set but here goes.....
With five forwards and five backs, on at any one time, the pitch seemed even bigger but the u13s were up for the new challenge of a 10s festival hosted by Kenilworth RFC.
Our first match was against Old Leamingtonians with Harborough winning 5-1
Against Broad Street Harborough prevented our opponents from crossing the whitewash whilst scoring 7 ourselves
The third match was the tightest and against Kenilworth who had also swept to two wins so far. Harborough.were leading all the way to the end until the referree allow "Fergie" time when Kenilworth controversially equalised with the extra last play. 4-4.
With a burning sense of injustice Harborough played their final game against Rugby Lions scoring freely to finish on a high 8-0.
Overall the fifteen players from Harborough showed great team spirit and fantastic handling skills which bodes well for the future. As the last few weeks have shown they are more than able to play all forms of this glorious game!
