Hunt for the Cup in October
The u14s started the defence of their County Cup title with an away fixture at Oadby Wyggestonians and successfully navigated their way to the next round.
The team put on a marvellous display of powerful running rugby that was just too much for the opposition, despite their best efforts. With the ball flowing smoothly between forwards and backs, Ed Duggan bagged a hat trick on the right wing before half time, after Ross Primrose had got the scoring underway.
The counter rucking was working well and resulted in scores for Henry Povoas and Will Hallam. Hallam was also on the button from the tee and converted four of the first half tries.
Keiran Silcott was also on the scoresheet before half time with a beautiful brake through the centre taking Harborough to a half time tally of 46 – 0. Will Hallam was first to score in the second half and this time kicking duties passed to Tom Pope who was successful with his first attempt. This took the score to the limit allowed and the tie was concluded at 50 – 0.
