Uncontested scrums from the start meant for a fast flowing game and Harborough ended up crossing the line for sixteen tries, despite some very spirited defence by the home side. Harborough used the whole available squad and it was a memorable day for Morgan Jones, who scored his first try for the club.
Harborough made it to 60 points by half time, despite some idiosyncratic conversion attempts. Scores came throughout the side, from Keiron Silcott and Ed Duggan on the wings to Parth Bhatt and Will Nijjer in the front row.
The try for Jones came in the second half and there was some tremendous running rugby and excellent support play. Theo Haynes also made a stunning break and was unfortunate not to score. A great opportunity for all the boys to have a run in the sun.
