Market Harborough U14's A team welcomed Stamford and promptly fell behind to three tries from a strong fast Stamford outfit.
Being 19-0 behind after 10 minutes, and having had no possession, the team dug in and fought their way back into the game. After 20 minutes they got their deserved reward when Ben Richards crashed over and then Seremiah Bai took his opportunity well to score before half time to make it 10-19 at the break.
With momentum behind them, and Stamford rotating their squad, Harborough took advantage with Harry Glynn, Morgan Riseley and Ben Holland all scoring. Stamford fought back as we knew they would to close the gap to just 3 points before Ben Richards rumbled over with the last play of the game. Taran Mann kicked 1 conversion, final score 32-24 to Harborough.
Highlight - Oscar MC's perfect kick through, Taran Mann's chase and pop pass to Morgan Riseley who beat one man and 'glided' in behind the posts.
Great game of rugby between two evenly matched sides.
