Harborough U14's continued their defence of the LRU County Cup at home against Market Bosworth and were convincing winners. Sterland opened the scoring with the first of what proved to be his 5 tries, Henry Joule added the second before Tyler Smith scored the third. Joule could have scored the fourth himself but unselfishly put in Thomas Kemp to score with a neat step. Jack Vernon converted making it 22:0. Sterland (converted Vernon), Sterland again, Ewan Jones and Smith (converted Vernon) saw the teams break at half time with Harborough 46:0 up.
Bosworth clearly used half time to good effect, as they came out like a different side and put Harborough under pressure for a considerable period of the second half, rewarded with a score of their own, 46:5.
The second half was a much closer match, but Sterland (converted Joule), Shea Harley and Sterland's 5th saw Harborough finish 65:5 winners and continue their defence of the county title.
