Harborough win away at the local rivals

This was a fixture all enjoy, friendly hosts, friendly rivalry, great sausaages, mutual respect but both teams play to win.
It started with Harborough attacking, but they were repelled by some strong Lutterworth defence, ultimately turning the ball over.
Then it was Harborough's turn to defend and they too held firm. The defences were winning the early part of the game.
From the next Harborough attack, Charlie Smith stepped the defender and broke through to score and leave George Williams an easy conversion, 0:7.
Lutterworth hit back though and Harborough were penalised at the breakdown. Lutterworth had a strong kicker and he judged the swirling wind well to reduce the defecit, 3:7. Half time
In the second half, after a further period of play with some great contests at the breakdown, another penalty was awarded to Lutterworth. Whereas the Harborough approach was tap and go at all opportunities, Lutterworth again elected for the 3 points. 6:7
Harborough then began to dominate proceedings with the strong wind behind them now.
First to add to the score was Ollie Bunce, converted by Williams. From a scrum in the Lutterworth 22, scrum half Ned Bellamy saw a gap down the blindside and sniped in to score. Smith then turned provider with a great run, popping the ball to Harry Slaughter. 6:26.
A disagreement at the breakdown saw Oscar Considine spectating for the final ten minutes, but despite the numerical disadvantage Slaughter added another; 6:31. The ref's cards sympathetically stayed in his pocket when Javen Boot was tripped with the tryline beckoning and a penalty try followed, final score 6:38
