Away at The Gate

The All Blacks (two squads) travelled the short distance to Hallaton rec to take on Stoneygate in our first fixture against the Gate. One squad made up of Curtis, Thomas A, Cameron M, Woody, Harry, Jamie & Oliver Redman played very well indeed. Strength & depth in attack linked coupled with great handling were the sides big positives, needing work was getting "switched on" early in the game as once they got heads on to the game the first up tackling was very good. As always with the All Blacks tries game through multiple sets of hands and they continue to be a threat with ball in hand.

The Other squad coached by Mike Deeley (many thanks for stepping in) played really well also they struggled being the gentlemen that they are with tackling the girls in the side instead letting the ladies go before the gentlemen, once they clicked as a side they ran in some fantastic tries with every member of the team getting on the score sheet over the course of the day.

Collectively the All Blacks Won 3 lost 2

Stoneygate were very complimentary of the skill and style the boys played with, feedback like this is always fantastic to hear.
