Menaces and Rogues v Hinckley & Melton

The Menaces were at home against Hinckley and Melton. The Menaces line up were Oliver Barbosa, Ned Bellamy, Edward Bradnam, Joshua Brambini-Meadows, Toby Christisson, Max Fletcher, William Groves, Joshua Tomlinson and Liam Grabb. Their first game against Melton was a hard fought game resulting in a 11-8 defeat to Melton. There were some outstanding performances from Groves who scored 2 tries,whilst Grabb made some fantastic tagging. This game also saw tries from Bellamy, Tomlinson, Barbosa and Fletcher.
The second game against Hinckley was a close contest seeing tries from Barbosa, Bradnam, Fletcher, Tomlinson, and Christisson with the final score 8-6 to Hinckley.
The final game for the Menaces was against another Melton team. This game was full of spills and thrills including a great pick up from Christisson who ran down the wing to score. There was great team work resulting in Brambini-Meadows scoring a try. Other tries followed from Bellamy, following a great pass from Grabb, Fletcher, and Christisson.

The Rogues were also at home playing the same teams as the Menaces and their line up included Harry Boucher, Zac Coneely, George Garner, Joseph Halls, Ellis Hepworth, Thomas Jeffs, Tom Lord, Harry Slaughter, Billy Ward and Callum Jones. The Rogues played Melton twice with victories both times, 9-8 and 7-5. Tries were scored by Ward, Hepworth, Slaughter, Boucher, Jeffs and Garner,with great team support from Coneely, Halls, Lord and Jones. There was great determined play from the team and good jinxy runs around the opposition.
The Rogues played another 2 games against Hinckley, losing 6-8 to Hinckley and 2-6, but despite this it was a good performance from the team, including tries from Jones, Boucher, Ellis, Halls & Coneely.
