Menaces and Mischiefs Make the Final

MHRUFC U8 Menaces and Mischiefs squads were entered in the South Leicester Festival.

The Menaces first game of the season saw them start slowly against South Leicester. The result was a 5 -5 draw with Oliver Mason, Oliver Barbosa, Ed Bradnum and two tries to Ned Bellamy, some really well worked tries and good long runs.

The second Menaces game against Lutterworth was a much better start winning 5-4. Oliver Mason scored a great try in the comer following good work from Max Fletcher. Oliver Barbosa scored in the corner along with Ned Bellamy. William Groves added to his score sheet following a great pass from Thomas Buxton. Josh Brambini-Meadows had a great run to score in the corner. A great performance with some excellent defending taking place.

The third match against Long Buckby was a really tight game with Market Harborough winning 5-4 with Oliver Mason scoring three. William Groves added to the score along with Thomas Buxton. There was great supportive play from Liam Crabb, Max Fletcher & Toby Christison.

Both Market Harborough teams, the Menaces and Mischiefs, made it to the final. This was a fantastic final with some great defensive work on behalf of both teams. The result was a 6-5 win to the Menaces with tries coming from Oliver Barbosa, Carys Hamilton, Ed Bradnam, Oliver Mason and two tries from Max Fletcher, a great game.
