Harborough Players Perform Around the Planet

Players who have spent their early years at Harborough Rugby Club are making a splash around the globe!

We endeavour to provide the right environment for everyone, no matter how long players are connected to rugby. It's fantastic to see the talent that has come through the club.

George Thornton is making headlines in Sydney scoring two tries in two weeks, helping his team, Northern Suburbs, to this weeks 34-29 win. Reports quote an unstoppable brace.

Cameron Jordan made his Gloucester debut in 2022 but has now played 25 times for the senior team this season, including European rugby competitions. Tabitha Copson is also in the Gloucester Ladies Squad and has been picked in previous England youth team squads.

If you saw the U20 World Cup campaign, in South Africa, this summer then you'd have noticed one, Finn Carnduff playing a part in every match for England. Fellow former Harborough player Josh Manz also played a part in this campaign.

In more rugby news Joe Margetts has re-signed for Doncaster Knights to play centre for his 3rd season and Sam Grahamslaw re-joins the forwards at Jersey Reds after making the Championship Team Of The Season for 2022/23.

Congratulations to Cammie Oxley and Tamsin Baynes. They have been selected for Loughborough Lightning Women's Rugby Centre of Excellence. Tamsin was also selected for the England Rugby U18’s squad.

George Timmins has played for Bath Academy and now moves into the senior Bath squad. His tenacity in the back row throughout 2022/23 earned him recognition by England U18 in the U18 Six Nations Festival, in Dublin.
