We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Jobe Jeacock, a much-loved former member, player and teammate at Market Harborough Rugby Club. Jobe was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer earlier this year and sadly lost his battle late last week.
Jobe (pictured left), who played Prop was a powerful presence on the field, often alongside his brother Rory (pictured right), and he was an even better man off it. A loyal teammate, a true club man, and a friend to many, he will be greatly missed.
Jobe was a proud father of two daughters. Recently, his daughter raised over £8,400 with a “big hair chop” in honour of his fight against cancer, reflecting the strength and spirit of the whole family.
We send our heartfelt condolences to Jobe’s family and friends.
Funeral details will be shared once confirmed.
