Sunday 3rd September is the first official date of the 2023/24 Age Grade season and training starts for all our age groups.
All our mixed age group minis teams and the U12 boys and U12 girls teams are training at 10am on 3rd September and for the rest of the month too.
On 10th September, the U13, U14 and U16 boys teams have home fixtures kicking off at 11am (10am meet). U13 have a second fixture away & the U15s are away too.
The U14 girls are training at 1pm, the U16 and U18 teams have 2pm matches.
For all the junior boys and girls games - a reminder to sign up to the club and RFU as non-members cannot play in matches. New players can come down to meet the coaching team.
We would love to see new faces too, so if you a young player interested in giving it a go, just turn up ... we don't charge you to come and see if rugby is for you. To understand which team you would be in, we follow school years as below:
Boys and girls: U6 (Reception and Year 1), U7 (Y2), U8 (Y3), U9 (Y4), U10 (Y5), U11 (Y6)
U12 boys (Y7), U12 Girls (Y7 but Y6 girls can join too),
Junior Boys: U13 (Y8), U14 (Y9), U15 (Y10), U16 (Y11). Our U18 boys (Y12/13), known as the Colts play on Saturdays
Junior Girls: U14 (Y8/9), U16 (Y10/11) and U18 (Y12/13)
On arrival, look for anyone wearing a coach jacket or look at the whiteboards on our building to direct you to your pitch space.
