Harborough 2nds began this game slowly with the intensity they required left somewhere in the changing rooms.
In all fairness the running of Callum Blair and Aaron Llye was thwarted by an experienced Old Laurentian's centre and it took time for the home team to change the game plan. Once Harborough used their forwards to drive up field this committed both the OL's pack and some of their threequarters. Lee Butler, Chris Robinson and Dan Carter led the charge and Paul Wilson crossed the whitewash for a 'forwards' try. Lee Butler, pictured above, had another fine game for Harborough.
Josh Haynes put in a fine display at scrum half and linked well with Callum Blair. Both backs scored once the supply of quicker ball was generated by the forwards. The try scoring was completed by Aaron Lyle. Callum Blair slotted 3 of the four conversion attempts.
Injured skipper George Lee commented "We really need to get our game together quicker. I was pleased when the forwards took more control, tied up their defence and this allowed our backs to make better use of the ball." He added "Its always nice to get back to winning ways."
