Harborough second team maintained their unbeaten record but had to dig deep to secure a draw at home to Old Laurentians 2nds. Harborough were dominant in the scrum but it was the visitors who proved to be the more productive in the first half as all too often Harborough lost out in the loose to a well drilled team, not helped by too many runners getting isolated at the breakdown. OL's were able to touch down twice with the conversations giving them a 14-0 half time lead. Harborough rang the changes in the second half and with Joe Margetts moving to the number 10 berth they started to look dangerous in attack. There were excellent performances by a number of the squad but it was Margetts who really stood out as he scored 2 tries both converted by Jake Thornton's trusty boot to secure a 14 all draw.
