Harborough Colts travelled to Melton Mowbray for their penultimate league match and ran in 13 tries to score an overwhelming 81-0 victory. The opening exchanges were even and a close game looked possible but after Luke Mathers touched down for the first of his 3 tries Harborough ran riot scoring 13 tries in total with Laurence Joel converting 8 for their biggest win of the season. The other tries came from Jayk Dressler (2) Ed Parker, Timmy Waterfield, Jonny Totten, James Stubbs, Jack Digby, Iain Barnett, Jake Noble and Laurence Joel for a personal tally of 21 points. There were impressive season debuts for Chris Merlane and Frank Tufail-Smith and a man of the match performance from Josh Wright. A great warm up for their County semi-final next weekend.
