Mischiefs played the hosts BBOB first, and won 7-0. The squad played well, got many turnovers and showed good support play. Tries were scored by Barney Walsh, who scored 2, George Goss, Ethan Hack, Hugh Salveson, Roddy Dewar and Thomas Kimbell.
Second match was against the Old Scouts B team and won 10-4. Again good play, especially in strong running through gaps. Walsh scored another pair, James Parr with 2, Hack also 2, Noah Green also 2, with Kimbell and Ethan Beadnall one a piece. Against the Old Scouts A, the best team on display who beat all comers, including the Harborough Rogues, the Mischiefs lost 5-4. Having made a poor start, losing 3-0, recovery was not quite good enough, but at least good spirit was shown. Tries by Parr and Kimbell, both scoring 2 each. The final game was against the Rogues and Mischiefs won 8-6, tries by Goss, Green, Salveson, Kimbell, William Milne and Thomas Bailey, completing a full score by all the squad. Notably for the Rogues try machine Harry Slaughter scored four, with Joseph Halls and Billy Ward scoring the other two.
